Client Service Associate - Full Time - Atlanta, GA
Client Service/ Financial Planning Career Path
Our firm is a growing, fee-only RIA in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA. We are searching for a client service associate interested in pursuing a financial planning career path to support our team and provide excellent service to our clients. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for handling client communications and needs as well as day-to-day operational management. During the first 2-3 years in the client service role, our firm will support the Individual as they obtain the Certified Financial Planner™ designation by covering all expenses and providing valuable learning opportunities that will satisfy the apprentice pathway experience requirement. Once the CFP® designation has been obtained, the individual will begin their transition into the Financial Planner role.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Support advisors with client service, maintenance, and all other activities including preparation of reports for meetings.
Manage and coordinate client onboarding process and ongoing maintenance of relationships (update information in CRM software, manage distributions), and answer non-investment related client questions/requests.
Coordinate for the successful implementation of key projects, such as improving operational and compliance processes.
Learn and implement paraplanning skills, including financial plan preparation and implementation, and supporting planners with client meeting follow-ups, notes, and plan updates.
Qualifications:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Self-disciplined and able to work independently in a small team environment.
Proficient technology skills, including MS Office and CRM software.
Desire to obtain CFP® designation.
Benefits:
$60-80k base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus

All costs covered to obtain CFP® designation, including coursework, review course, and exam.

By focusing 100% of our efforts on our clients, we are fortunate to receive referrals for new clients from our existing client base. Therefore, our team does not follow the traditional sales model. This means you will never be asked to proactively solicit new clients. Rest assured, you will never be asked for a list of your closest friends and family!
Not a Sales Culture
Company Hours
Our standard business hours are 8am – 4pm. We expect you to put your best efforts forward and be available during these hours. We also expect you to “turn off work” outside of these hours. You can be confident that our team will not be requesting your services when you are not on the clock. We value each teammate’s personal time and have put boundaries in place to protect that.
Vacation
All team members start with over 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO). This includes three weeks of discretionary PTO days in addition to the following federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Good Friday (half-day), Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Starting at the completion of your third year of employment, your discretionary PTO increases by 1 day per year with a total PTO cap of 5 weeks. Lastly, we work remotely as needed on an “on-call” basis during the week of Christmas.
Half Day Fridays
Our Client Service & Communications personnel take off early at 12:00pm every other Friday (after initial training estimated to be two months). You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.

Remote Days
We have a hybrid weekly work schedule consisting of two in-office days and three remote days. Our in-office days usually fall on Monday and Wednesday, but can vary based on client appointments.
